BARBARA WHITE (600A)
Barbara White
TET - 30" - EM - 7"
spacerRuffled baby ribbon pink self with a vivid green throat. Ext.; Sev.; 3 way branching; bud count 18. Reg. 2007 (DUNEDIN X JADE PRINCESS). This daylily is named after an exceptionally active member of the Ontario Daylily Society, Barbara White. Barbara is a great close friend of mine and Diane Crawford's. I felt it fitting that since Diane was having a daylily named after her that Barbara should too. That way they are friends in life and friends in that they have a daylily named for them. Those of you who know Barbara know that she and her husband Nick work hard on behalf of ODS. Both they and Diane Crawford and her husband Ron have been tireless workers for Ontario Daylily Society.

Barbara and her husband Nick visited during the peak of bloom season to pick out her namesake and the one she decided on was this big 7 inch, diamond dusted, baby ribbon pink daylily. A daylily I have used extensively over the years as a parent and it is producing some exciting offspring in the seedling fields. The thing that attracts you to this daylily is the huge flower it produces and the clarity of colour along with its big green throat it inherits from the JADE PRINCESS line. BARBARA WHITE is a solid performer in the early midseason garden. Fertile both ways. Please note that we expect a high demand for this daylily and we do have a number of double and single divisions of it in stock. We will offer double fans as long as the supply lasts and then singles after that.
Price: $100.00 (DF or SF)
