The Hudson Adirondack Daylily Society invites you to join them in Albany, NY, July 16-18 for the 2010 Summer Meeting of Region 4, titled "Daylilies, a Capital Affair." The Best Western Sovereign Hotel has easy access to I-87 and I-90, as well as free shuttle service to the Albany Airport AND the Rensselaer Amtrak station, so there's no reason not to come! HADS will feature five tour gardens, a host of open gardens, great people and fabulous food. Our featured speaker is everyone's favorite Brit, Mike Shadrack who will bring his own brand of humor to daylily gardening. On Friday a special auction titled "Focus on Four" will highlight the efforts of Region 4 hybridizers, and of course there will be a general auction on Saturday following the banquet. Registration and hotel information are available on the AHS web-site, www.daylilies.org. Just go to Conventions and Regional Meetings and look for Region 4.
This year we will be carrying all 10 of Bryan's new offerings, as well as many of his previous introductions. Please note that some are only available as single fans. We are open on weekends July 10 through August 15, from 10 to 4. You can see over 1000 daylilies in bloom and select some to take home with you from our sales beds. The farm is located about an hour northeast of the I-90/I-87 intersection in Albany, NY, about 45 minutes southeast of Saratoga Springs, NY, and about 30 minutes west of Bennington, VT.
