LONGLESSON BALLAD proves that there is definitely more than one way to get where you are going. I wanted a clear lavender daylily with a lot of flowers and a long bloom time, and I expected the best route would be to breed for high budcount. Hmm. A three year old plant of LB opened close to 110 flowers in the summer of '97. Bud count per scape averaged 10, but there were 11 scapes! It’s a good medium lavender with no hint of an eye. $15.00 | |
