Wide, wide ruffled petals and sepals, a delicate yellow, and the lightest well-defined pink pencil line make this a lady's flower if there ever was one. As light and dainty as a petit four tea cake, but tough as a Caterpillar tractor, it is very well suited to northern growing conditions. It is an excellent opener no matter what the weather. Bud count is 12- 15 and branching is 3-way, but L. PETIT FOUR produces a huge number of scapes. A three year-old plant had seventeen! Fertile both ways. Held for increase. | |
