This is not one of those tall statuesque reds, but manages to command your attention from across the garden by its sheer presence. It’s a clear rich fire-engine red (unlike the pic), and exhibits an extremely long bloom period. I anticipate in clump strength you will find it to be closer to 25" tall. Opens well, 25 buds, 3-way branching, and the color holds and holds. Barely any slicking, a trait I expect it gets from it's mom, Flamenco Queen. The daddy was an unnamed dark red seedling that shared it's wonderful plant habit with both PORTRAIT IN RED and PINCE NEZ. $25.00
